Hello, my name is Ryan Carpenter and I have over 6 years of experience in production. I have a strong passion for sport productions with a focus in audio and post production audio editing. My audio work has been on FS1, FS2, and ESPN+.
As well as working on shows for CBS and ESPN. I have experienced different audio boards such as Avid Venue, Calrec Artemis, Allen and Heath Dlive, and a Behringer x32. As well as extensive knowledge of Pro Tools.
My passion for production grows with each opportunity I take, while my focus is in post production audio, I love taking any chance to learn all aspects of production, from coiling cables to directing.
At an early age I fell in love with sports, I played football (soccer) and tennis growing up only increasing my love for the passion of sports. I found out fast I did not have what it takes to be a professional athlete, but learning that I could turn my passion into a job was enough to keep me motivated in increasing my skills in production. I have graduated with a communication degree with a concentration in broadcasting from Western Carolina.
My goal is to do audio for major football (soccer) events such as the world cup or any of the CONCACAF national tournaments. While I have a love for all sports my true passion is football (soccer). With the introduction of CLT FC in the MLS it has made me proud to say I am from Charlotte.
