I’m an industrious worker with an eye for detail who enjoys problem solving and positive customer interaction. I hope to leverage my abilities to tackle complex issues, successfully lead teams, and advance my career.
I spent three years bartending at Brothers Craft Brewing before being promoted to brewer. The last two and a half years have been spent developing the technical skills necessary for running a distribution-scale, beverage production facility, as well as the importance of a positive attitude, customer engagement, and teamwork—knowing when lend a hand and being able to ask for one. I have honed my skills in brewing, quality control, time management, and multi-tasking.
I am confident working autonomously and efficiently.
I earned a BS in Psychology with a minor in Biology from James Madison University. Afterwards, I was accepted into a masters program at the University of Hokkaido in Japan to study Neuroscience. After a few months I decided that it wasn’t the place for me, and I headed back to the States where I began my career in brewing.
My academic career path sharpened my attention to detail and supplied me with an open mind to work with diverse perspectives and dynamic work environments. Additionally I developed competency in various computer skills, basic statistics, and various laboratory techniques.
