I worked 12 years on the production side of the metal finishing industry, from polishing to electroplating.
Examples of some of the processes are: nickel, zinc, copper, cadmium, hex/tri chromium plating, blast bead, belt polishing and precision finishing work.
Experience with manual lines, automatic barrel and rack machines as well as vibratory tumbling. These roles included leadership responsibilities and staff supervision. I moved over to the environmental side of metal finishing in 2018 operating wastewater treatment systems after going to college for my water management certification. Since then I've fallen in love with the processes and have been lucky enough to gain priceless experience in the field.

For example, Special Topics in Water Treatment, Environmental Ethics, Environmental Monitoring and Water Treatment and Operations are some of the classes required for my degree.
I plan on continuing my education once my youngest son is in school full time.
