SkyRiver Butterflies - Del Mar, CA | June 2023 to June 2023

• I would lead guests at the Del Mar Fair through the butterfly exhibit, supervising their interactions with the animals and making sure they were following rules.
• Additionally handled money transactions in a fast-paced environment, having to do quick math and be moving at the same time.

Camp Instructor

Helen Woodward Animal Center - Rancho Santa Fe, CAJune 2021 to August 2021

• Had a different group of 5-15 kids every week (aged 4-7).
• Taught them about the wonderful world of animals and how we can protect it.
• Would show the campers five animals every day, this included a 15-minute presentation followed by an opportunity to pet the animal.
• The animals I handled ranged from small to large.

  Some animals I handled were: dogs, bunnies, chinchillas, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, cockroaches, alpacas, goats, sheep, miniature horses, miniature donkeys, birds (small and large), and frogs.

• Supervised, guided, and assisted students during crafts, art and reading. projects, games, and other activities to provide developmental stimulation; additionally played with the kids during playtime.
• Monitored camper behavior during activities, effectively handling discipline situations and encouraging positive behavior.

I have my Associate's degree in Psychology from Grossmont College and am working toward obtaining my Master's.
