Fear of the unknown can frequently cause us to obstruct our path to success. Working hard and never giving up are important key aspects of who I am.
My internship with E-Consulting in the summer of 2020 was perhaps the most illustrative of my potential attributes. In recent months, our marketing and sales report had been declining. The black and white graph lines seemed to mock me as I tried to figure out our next move, but the different variations of all the data scattered around the web page overwhelmed me.
My coworkers and I had been stumped for days, but since we had all studied new research techniques and learned about various consumer strategies and purchasing patterns during the internship, we decided to put our heads together and try to solve the problem. With the assistance of my new interns and coworkers, we designed several new marketing tools for gaining customers. We quickly increased our company's profit and sales as a result of our research and analysis.
This endeavor taught me the value of perseverance and dedication.
As a result of this experience, I can take something as perplexing and reductionistic as graph lines on a screen and turn it into something significant. In the future, I've learned to be flexible with everything, including opportunities and problems, by visualizing my end goal. I want to put my energy and passion into everything in front of me, whether it's lines on a screen or a problem in a company.
Translating my internship experience into other aspects of my life has enabled me to tackle future opportunities effectively.
