Salma Ramirez

Hello,

My name is Salma Cruz R. I am currently a sophomore in marketing and advertising. I have been able to work with a variety of different companies in retail, book publishing and event planning. I am also a fluent student in English and Spanish, currently improving my korean language skills. I am person with many aspirations, which lead me to creating my online brand of different items focusing mainly in graphic design/art.

I have worked as a Manger for a furniture and home decor retail store. My main focus was advertising online for the shop to gain more customers depending on their needs such as targeting the client base we need. Creating a website for the store to make it accessible online, an easier way to shop for our clients who are located in different areas. I have had the pleasure to work with a event coordinators and it helped me see other skills that I can apply my work on such as advertising their event planning company to people that value the importance of a festive atmosphere for their loved ones.

I am traveler, thanks to my parents who pushed me to travel the world and to engage with people of different cultures. I was able to study at Mary Baldwin University for my first year of college and it was amazing experience getting to know my classmates and professors. However, I knew I wanted a different college experience, which why I chose Grand Canyon University and this transition helped me have more time on my hands to travel abroad for a summer as a language exchange student in Korea. I am currently back home and working full time job and being still a full-time student who has different job experience in marketing.
