No prior professional experience

I've graduated from SW BOCES Technical School with a Certificate in HVAC Installation and Repair and obtained my EPA 608 Universal. During the course we studied and practiced:

• Diagnostic techniques
• Charging by superheat, subcooling and weigh-in methods
• Evacuation and recovery of refrigerant
• Brazing/soldering
• Leak checking
• Change-out procedures
• Interpreting blueprints
• Wiring electrical controls
• Proper safety procedures when troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues
• Working with the instruments used in HVAC-R
