About

I am currently completing my B.S. in Computer Science at Virginia Tech with minors in Mathematics and Finance, and I plan to earn the FRM certification after graduation. I bring a blend of technical expertise from programming and data analysis to systems optimization, and a interest in applying these skills to financial modeling, risk assessment, and fintech innovation. Through my experience as a software engineering intern and my independent projects, I’ve developed practical problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

I’m now seeking opportunities to build relevant work experience in financial services, risk analytics, or related areas to further my professional development in the finance industry

Experience

Completed a Software Engineering Internship at Mi2R1 Lab (Asan Medical Center, Seoul), where I contributed to deep learning projects focused on medical imaging. Gained hands-on experience with automation scripting, database updates, and collaborative development of CNN and ViT models for chest X-ray classification and lung segmentation. Supported research efforts by improving model performance and developing validation tools to evaluate unseen datasets.
