Hello, my name is Samantha! I am an undergraduate student at the University of
Georgia majoring in journalism with a minor in international affairs and certificates in sports media and news literacy.
I am originally from Tampa, Florida, and I have been exploring my passions in Athens,
Georgia.
I am currently a contributor at The Red & Black, where I have written about men’s and women’s tennis. During my time at The Red & Black, I have interviewed coaches and sports writers while telling stories through the articles I write.
I’ve developed my video production skills by filming video packages with a DSLR camera and my editing skills in Premiere Pro. I have also developed my social media skills as a social media intern for the Indoor Football League, and my production skills as a production intern at Georgia Bulldog Sports Marketing.
My passion for sports, news and video production is shown through my work.

I graduated high school in 2022 from Academy at the Lakes. I am currently a junior at the University of Georgia pursuing a major in Journalism, a minor in International Affairs, and certificates in Sports Media and News Literacy
