Driven by a passion for dentistry and public health, I am passionate about improving patient care and addressing healthcare disparities. With hands-on experience in dental assisting and certifications in radiology and infection control, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for patients. My background in public health has strengthened my ability to educate diverse communities and promote preventive care.
As an aspiring dentist, I aim to combine clinical expertise with a public health perspective to provide accessible, high-quality oral healthcare. Fluent in English and Spanish, I excel in patient communication and treatment coordination.
I have extensive hands-on experience in dental assisting, working alongside board-certified dentist Dr. Fernandez in Parsippany, NJ, where I assisted during examinations, procedures, and treatment planning while maintaining strict infection control protocols from 2021 to 2025. Additionally, my clinical experience in Philadelphia, working alongside dental students and professors, allowed me to refine my technical skills and expand my knowledge of dental procedures.
Through these experiences, I earned multiple certifications, including NELDA, CPR, and radiology, further strengthening my expertise in patient care and clinical efficiency.
I completed the Post-Baccalaureate Program at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2024, gaining advanced knowledge in dental sciences, chairside assisting, and oral disease management. My coursework in orthodontics, microbiology, and bone regeneration enhanced my clinical expertise, complementing my Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Rutgers University in 2022. At Rutgers, I studied epidemiology, health disparities, and public health law, equipping me with a strong foundation in disease prevention and patient advocacy.
