Samira Farahani

I am a training developer and community outreach specialist with experience gained by working with varied deprived communities in different countries. I learned about multidimensional development issues that have hampered livelihood issues at the local level, from my face to face interaction with community members with various cultural backgrounds and spoken languages.

I have been working with non profit organizations, academia and public sector in the United States to design and implement educational programs which are mainly focused on sustainable development and civic life.

I organized more than 40 online certificate programs for professionals in the field of sustainability and community development in non profit sector, and academia. I take part in those program in various capacities including curriculum developer, educational coordinator, and mentor.

I am currently a PhD student at Texas State University, Adult, Professional, and Community Education.
