Samuel Nethery

I am a junior enrolled at Penn State University in the College of Information Sciences and Technology. My academic focus is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Security & Risk Analysis, in addition to a Smeal College Business Fundamentals Certification. This educational pursuit shows my commitment to learning both the technical and business sides of my field. I am openly looking for internship opportunities that will help improve my skills.

I gained valuable experience as a Seasonal Mover with Interstate Moving, Relocation, and Logistics in Springfield, VA from May to August 2024. During this time, I supported high-profile relocations for clients like the U.S. Congress, the Library of Congress, and George Mason University.

My responsibilities included organizing and safeguarding critical records for the Library of Congress during their move to a remote Virginia location, as well as ensuring the safe transport of company goods. Prior to this, I worked as a Restaurant Team Member at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where I maintained food safety standards, prepared fresh ingredients, and collaborated with crew members during peak hours. Additionally, I served as a Personal Assistant for Therapeutic Recreation Services with Fairfax County Government, supervising and managing 12 learning-disabled school-aged children, planning their daily activities, and holding certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid and Child and Adult Protective Services.
