About

I began my telecommunication journey as a field technician in 1997 NYNEX through several mergers until finally becoming a part of Verizon, and thus, I am well adept at handling the growing pains of businesses in this specified field. Along the way, I also acquired a degree through a specialized Verizon college program called Next Step, now dissolved, in Telecommunications Technology at CUNY-NYCT, graduating in title to TTA upon completion. I have also held managerial positions in several NY counties in the areas of Construction/Maintenance and Installation and have additionally been one of a few technicians who have worked in every OSP position available in my region.

After 20 years in the industry, I left to become a small business ecommerce owner in 2017, finally utilizing my formal education and training in art and design. I have been a firm believer in lifelong learning and have kept abreast of changing trends in the industry I spent most of my adult life embracing with new certifications specific to the region. My desire to return is in no small part due to the social connections that the industry offers, encompassing a more relaxed style than non-technological companies and one that encourages innovative thought from its employee workforce that often benefits the company as a whole.
