I am Karekar Sanjeev, exploring the possibility of a postdoctoral position in your esteemed research group. Currently, I am working as research assistant (RA) in OSCP CSIR-IICT.
Recently I have completed my Ph.D. in chemical science, entitled “Development of Aryne Triggered Strategies to Skeletal-Diverse Scaffolds of Malabaricol and Cycloalkyl-Fused Naphthalenes”under the supervision of Dr.
Chandrasekhar (former director CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad, Secretary of Department of Science and Technology India). During my doctoral studies, I developed aryne triggered strategy to access skeletal-diverse scaffolds of natural products such as a 18β-Glycyrrhetinic acid and Malabaricol (Org. Lett. 2018, 20, 7121). By utilizing aryne triggered method herein synthesized [6.8.6] tricyclic framework, which is embedded with taxen class of natural products. Later in 2021, demonstrated Lewis acid mediated benzannulation to access cycloalkyl fused naphthalenes from alkyne tethered aryne insertion adducts (Org. Lett. 2021, 23, 4013). I also have experience in handling flow chemistry instruments. Using flow technology, I developed photo-flow oxidative reaction platform approach presented for the synthesis of phthalides and API (Green. Chem. 2018, 20, 4584).During the pandemic time, with my expertise in synthetic chemistry, I was involved in the Covid-19 project and the work was submitted to patent.
