Currently 3nd year resident at Scripps Mercy Internal Medicine Program
Expected start date: Hoping to start 9/2023-10/2023, however flexible
Experience (Residents in Scripps Mercy Internal medicine program are given high autonomy)
-Robust inpatient experience:
-Night float shifts of 6 -7 admits.
-Solid intensive care experience:
-Day team consists of 1 attending, 1 senior, 2 interns. Carry maximum of 12 patients. No cap on admits.
-Procedure experience: a-lines, central lines, paracentesis
-Cardiac limited ultrasound exam (CLUE) certified – To determine volume status. Also, to r/o pneumothorax (lung sliding), cardiac tamponade, PE (right heart strain)
-Diligent, responsible, hard-working
-Love working with medical staff (Nurse, PT/OT, SLP, RT, specialists)
I am excited that I am nearing the end of my residency and am looking forward to working as a hospitalist. I feel that my program has provided me with solid inpatient experience. I hope to start my career in a supportive community and look forward to meeting with you.
