I received my Masters Degree in Maritime Studies from East Carolina University in 2017, which is the nautical branch of archaeology. My Bachelor's Degree was in Archaeology from University of Evansville in 2011. My areas of focus are Ancient Rome and Ancient Etruria.
My thesis discussed and compared ancient Roman harbor sites and their importance to their hinterlands. Since 2017 I have been teaching ancient Roman history, History to 1500, and ancient Greek history in an American study abroad program located in Italy.
My main skills are teaching, research, historical knowledge, and writing. It is my goal to acquire positions that revolve around these skills, namely as a researcher, an adjunct instructor, or a professor. I am also partial to travel writing as I have traveled a lot with my schooling and career trajectory.
