I am a 20-year-old Art History student with a strong interest in expanding my experience in the art world through hands-on involvement in gallery operations. Currently on a gap year to support my continued education at The New School (Spring 2026), I am eager to contribute while deepening my understanding of curatorial practices, visitor engagement, and the daily workings of an art institution.
While I do not yet have direct experience in the gallery or museum field, I have developed strong communication, organization, and time management skills through academic work and other responsibilities. I am passionate about art history and eager to apply myself in a professional setting where I can learn more about gallery operations, support visitor engagement, and gain firsthand experience in the art world. I bring a thoughtful, observant, and reliable presence to any environment I work in.
I have taken introductory Art History and studio art courses that sparked my deeper interest in the field and helped me begin identifying my direction. These early experiences laid the foundation for my current focus on art history and visual culture, which I plan to pursue more fully upon returning to The New School in Spring 2026. My coursework has fostered a growing appreciation for the roles of curation, historical context, and audience engagement in art.
