Savannah Bas

Recent Graduate interested i n applying my communications degree and interpersonal skills towards beginning a career in education. Working roughly sixty-hour work weeks, while meeting the challenges of being a full-time student, was made possible by my perseverance, hard work, and dedication. My experiences and education have fostered my development into a strong, viable and capable candidate. As a communications major, I have a diverse education. This will enable me to meet a multitude of demands for an education position. For many years I have had a career goal to be a teacher. I am passionate about giving guidance and educating students so that they can have successful futures.

My professional experience is currently in the customer service industry. I have worked as a bartender and server for many years. This has enabled me to practice my communication and empathy skills. Bartending is a diverse job with many tasks. The most important task is understanding people and giving them what they need. These needs surpass food and beverage ranging from counseling to friendship. This is not only applicable to many different professions but necessary.

I have a total of three degrees: Bachelor in communications, Associate of Arts, and Associate of Science. Both of my Assocaites degrees are from Tri-County Community College, where I graduated with honors. My Bachelor's degree is from Southern New Hampshire University.
