Kaitlynne Wilhelm

Hi, my name is Kaitlynne Wilhelm and I am pursuing a career in healthcare! Currently, I am looking to become a Medical Scribe, so I can start getting exposure to the clinical settings in hospitals. I ideally want to familiarize myself with medicine before applying to medical schools with the ultimate goal of becoming a doctor.

I have recently finished up the prerequisites for medical school, so I have solid knowledge in the healthcare science and now I am looking for the right place to start my career!

I have always kept busy during summer recess (from 2020 to 2024) by being a sailing instructor at Bay Head Yacht Club (BHYC). Once my college schedule allowed it, I became a substitute teacher at Hugh J.

School and also started shadowing at my local dental office, Leone and Wenning Dentistry Group, under Dr. Wenning with over 100 hours of shadowing experience. I am now starting to shadow for at a pediatrician office, TLC Pediatric, under Dr. O'Brien and at a cardiologists office, Shore Heart Group, under Dr. Karam.

I graduated from Loyola University Maryland in May of 2023 and got a bachelors degree in psychology. Then, I just completed the Post-Baccalaureate PreHealth Certificate from Kean University in which I completed all my relevant coursework need to apply to medical school.
