Retired law enforcement veteran; having served as a Deputy Sheriff (Lieutenant) for the Orange County (CA.) Sheriff’s Department. In my 27 years of law enforcement service, I spent over 14 years in Supervision and Management and specialize in critical incident response, critical incident management, internal investigations, tactics, training and supervision. I also have private-sector security management experience and served as an Associate Instructor in the Criminal Justice Department at Santa Ana College.

PUBLIC SAFETY LIEUTENANT, SAN MANUEL BAND OF MISSION INDIANS, highland CA.

As a Public Safety Lieutenant I was responsible for overseeing the physical security of Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel; one of the largest resort, hotel and casinos in the region. My responsibilities also included: scheduling, training, policy review and revision, employee issues and VIP protection.

Over the course of my law enforcement career, I have served in the following capacities: Custody Operations, Patrol Operations, Critical Incident Response Team, Field Training Officer, Training Instructor/Administrator, Supervisor, Watch Commander, Manager and County Search & Rescue Coordinator. I am also experienced in project management and internal investigations of employee misconduct.
