I am general counsel for a local Bank where I handle all creditor matters that arise, including but not limited to handling all residential and commercial foreclosures and corresponding litigation, drafting of contracts and agreements, addressing wills and trust issues, power of attorney questions, responding to subpoenas, writs and garnishments, human resources issues, and more. In addition to the above, I practice in the area of Plaintiff's Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice, handling every facet of the litigation process from intake, pleadings, discovery (written requests, depositions, etc.), motions practice, oral arguments and the trial of cases. This was a part-time position where I assisted in the prosecution of all criminal cases brought before our office in Juniata County. My duties began with extensive legal research and writing from memos and briefs to handling all appeals to the Pennsylvania Superior Court. I conducted preliminary hearings, summary appeal hearings and violators court, as well as assisted the District Attorney in trial preparation from the interviewing of witnesses and victims, to jury selection, trial strategy and ultimately prosecuting criminal cases at the Common Pleas level.
