My vision as a PMHNP-BC is to improve the lives of those living with mental health dis-ease by providing them with the highest quality mental health care that I have to offer. I want to make a difference in communitie, by providing tools to empower, resources for emotional wellness and support to individuals across the lifespan.
Collectively, I have over ten years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in multiple discipline, as an Oncology/Acute Care nurse, Home Health Oncology nurse, Geriatrics care, and three years in an Urgent Care Clinic as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The three years as a Nurse Practitioner at the urgent care clinic provided me the opportunities to provide care of all types, included and not limited to Urgent Mental Health walk-ins which included our homeless population, drug addiction, anxieties through COVID (our clinic did not close during the whole pandemic), sport’s physicals, and urgent care needs of common colds and the occasional accident with open skin wounds and infection.
My most relevant education is completion of the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner education and obtaining certification through ANCC.
