I am a motivated and quick learner with over 7 years of engineering experience. I was with Cinch Connectivity Solutions for 5 years and the last year at Kato Engineering. Initially as an Industrial Engineer, then I transitioned into a Manufacturing Engineering role for the last 4 years. Eventually transitioning into a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer role. In 2018, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama. While I was a student, I also gained experience working as a Manufacturing Engineering intern for 3 semesters at Ascend Performance Materials.
At Cinch Connectivity Solutions, I developed a wide range of experience in the engineering field. I have managed many large scale projects. Most notably, I was the lead engineer involved in the acquisition of a competitor and the subsequent transfer of the entire assembly process into our sister facility in Mexico. This involved auditing the existing process, cataloging all equipment/tooling, packaging and shipping across the border. Then, with all existing knowledge and resources from the now empty company, I trained an entirely new team in Mexico. I structured a new layout to fit within the limited space available, also I implemented and trained on all of the inspection procedures. Finally, I managed the project to requalify all of the newly inherited products with DLA.
During all of this, I continued with my daily responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer. This mainly requires being the technical resource for preventing down time and defects in production. Also, I control all of the tooling in my areas. I verify all tooling is not only efficient, but user friendly, safe, prevents damage to product. With any new products or design changes; I created the visual work instructions, design new tooling, and maintain both the BOM/Routing in the ERP system.
