I’m a proud Greenwood native who has spent my life pouring into the families, youth, and neighborhoods that shaped me. With a B.A. in Communications from Mississippi Valley State University, I’ve dedicated my career to strengthening Leflore County. Most recently serving 4 years as Community Outreach Manager for Delta Health Alliance’s Leflore Promise Community, where I connect residents to resources, lead neighborhood revitalization, and support programs that uplift fathers, students, and entire communities.
My passion for youth development led me to charter the first female Scout troop in the Mississippi Delta and continue mentoring young leaders as an Assistant Scout Master. I stay deeply involved in civic and service organizations, earning honors like 2024 Ambassador of the Year, 2024 Wonder Woman Honoree, 2025 Top 30 Under 40, and graduating from Leadership Greenwood. My greatest joy is being Mom to Demetrice and Jaycee, who keep me grounded, inspired, and laughing.
Everything I do is driven by heart and purpose, including my dream of opening a homeless shelter that offers safety, stability, and hope for families in Greenwood.
