Shannon Nyx

I am a 2D animator and illustrator based in San Francisco, California. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Animation in 2021. My work is characterized by my love for vibrant color palettes and quirky character designs. My biggest artistic passion is breathing a sense of life and personality into any of my designs.

• Produced and managed educational short films regarding drug overdose prevention. 
• Designed overall style and visual development.
•  Developed, oversaw and updated project schedules and timelines to meet deadlines.
•  Managed and oversaw animation and sound team.
•  Communicated with CEO and crew to establish project requirements and project planning.

• Collaborated with Mynth shop to produce a clothing line which included my illustrations on shirts, pins, scrunchies and stickers.

•  Co-Director and producer, leading the team in all aspects of production such as animation and visual development.
•  Managed and organized schedules to ensure the meeting of deadlines. 
• Worked closely with co-director to achieve the highest quality of work. 

• Received and completed paid commissions from online and in-person customers such as traditional and digital illustrations, portraits, character designs, character animations.
•  Produced and sold original artwork such as paintings, wearable art and prints at art markets and fairs. 
• Developed and designed original artwork for gallery exhibitions.
•  Also worked closely with gallery owners to curate and hang work for shows.
