Assist the Lead Teacher while following the Montessori philosophy, curriculum and techniques to develop each student's full potential and treat each child with dignity and respect
Assist the Lead Teacher with ensuring a prepared Montessori environment for Lower and Upper Elementary students and develop plans to meet individual academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of each student
Assist Lead Teacher with instilling powerful and inspiring classroom culture where children have high self-expectations with strong intrinsic-motivation and self-direction in a carefully prepared environment
Engage with ongoing professional development and identify new ideas and materials to use in classroom
Observe students as a means of record keeping to evaluate student success
Implement the "Good Listener" - a listening approach for students to share their emotions and experiences
Lead cooking lessons with Lower and Upper Elementary and Kindergarten students
Lead social and emotional well-being lessons with Lower and Upper Elementary students
