Sold installation supplies. Was responsible for ordering and keeping inventory stocked. Ran the supply counter for a year then moved into the office as an account rep.

Carpet installer

I worked with my father for three years learning the craft of installation. Installed mostly carpet but also installed some vinyl and wood.

Managed homeowners walk through and schedule any repairs that were needed.

Quality Control / Installation Coordinator / Quality Control Manager / Estimating Manager - jj nelson

• Started at JJ Nelson as a quality control in the field. Walked jobs and made any small repairs that were needed.
• Moved up to be the installation coordinator. Scheduled the jobs and aligned crews for the installation. Handled all the installation phone calls from the builders and scheduled repairs.
• Moved up again to become the quality control manager. Was over the territories to provide our customers with timely response to handle any issues. Scheduled the QC guys in their territories.
• Became the estimating manager. Handled all the builder accounts. Was responsible for accurate take-offs, filling out spreadsheets and sending them to builders to create contracts. Work very fast paced and never missed a do-date.
