Since 1994, Rocky Mountain Equality (RMEQ) has educated, advocated, and provided services, programs, and support to LGBTQ+ individuals and families in Colorado. Through its activities, support groups, and events, the organization reaches around 15,000 people each year.

The Boulder County Gender Support

Group meets weekly and is open to 18+ individuals to share and receive support from transgender and nonbinary peers in a safe and supportive environment. As a facilitator I'm responsible for making sure individuals feel heard and free to express real challenges being faced by themselves and the transgender community as a whole.

• Lead a city-wide effort to support and sign an Ordinance establishing the creation of a Youth Advisory Committee and a Latino Advisory Board
• Became one of the first communities in Colorado to pass an Ordinance establishing recognition for our efforts to Build an Inclusive Community
