An outgoing, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented professional aiming to make a long-term career transition from Advertising to Tech. Currently, pursuing my Master's Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University while working as a Build & Automation Engineer Intern at WB Games Boston.
My career began as an Event manager at the age of 16 and later expanded into the field of Advertising and Digital Marketing. Being in the management role for over 4+ years, I spent most of my time meeting clients, understanding and translating their requirements into executable items for the operations and technology teams. The best part of the job was the role I had in bringing cross-functional teams together to brainstorm ideas, solve problems and deliver tangible solutions for our clients.
I enjoy connecting with people and motivating them to work towards a common goal.
When I joined the Master’s program, being new to the tech industry, I learned and grew with every project I was working on not only as an individual but also as a team member. I am a curious, detail-oriented, and persistent person and I take pride in my ability to connect with people. While I enjoy problem-solving, the program has helped me become adept with the foundations of computer science and apply the principles to implement different projects.
My coursework focused on building foundations of computer science through Algorithms and their applications in Computer Systems, Data Structures in Java and Python. It also focused on learning and building using front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React along with another team project that involved building a discord bot using object-oriented programming in Java using Agile methodologies.
