My name is Sheila Lowe, and I am writing to express my sincere interest in special education. With a strong passion for special education and a dedication to fostering the success of students with autism, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to your esteemed institution. Throughout my career, I have been committed to developing the academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills of special education students.

By implementing district-approved curriculum and employing evidence-based teaching strategies, I have successfully guided students toward achieving their fullest potential. My approach to education is holistic, focusing not only on academic growth but also on the development of essential life skills that empower students to navigate their daily lives with confidence and independence. In my previous roles, I have meticulously documented teaching and student progress, ensuring that each student's unique needs are addressed through personalized learning plans.

I believe that maintaining clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and administration is crucial for setting and achieving educational goals. Providing regular feedback and updates on student progress has been a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for all stakeholders. Creating a safe and optimal learning environment is a top priority for me.

I am dedicated to maintaining a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning, where students feel secure, respected, and motivated to excel. My experience in managing diverse classroom dynamics and addressing individual behavioral needs has equipped me with the skills to eAectively support students with autism in their educational journey. I am eager to bring my expertise and passion for special education to this school.

Got my master's degree is Special Education with an emphasis in Mod/Severe from Grand Canyon University in 2024.
