Healthcare administrative professional with a background in mathematics and data analytics - over 3 years of managerial experience in healthcare during a global pandemic and 6 years previously in pension plan consulting. Versatile skill set with experience in revenue cycle management, clinical operational workflows, and patient satisfaction metrics.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Actuarial Studies). I interned with Buck Consultants, a pension consulting firm, and after successfully passing my first exam was offered a full time job. I worked with Buck consultants for a year and half before I was offered a consultant job with Nova Pension Consulting, a boutique firm that provided pension consulting for big oil companies.
I worked with Nova for over four years. In that time I managed groups of consultants on specialized projects for clients that focus on data analysis and pension calculations. I worked at Caesars Entertainment as a Senior Data Analyst where I worked with Big Data sets, SAS, and analytical evaluations for various departments.
I then decided to go into the family business and got my diamond credentialing and worked for the next 3.5 years as an owner of a South Asian jewelry store. Once the pandemic hit, I was given an opportunity by an acquaintance that started off as something small and morphed into a managerial position and ultimately COO. I worked with the Urgent Care through out the pandemic focusing on operational workflows, patient concerns, safety measures and overall financial growth and claim analysis.
I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics with an emphasis on Actuarial Science. I have passed the first two actuarial exams, before my career shifted to pension administration and consulting.
