About
I just wrapped up my eleventh year as a Baltimore City Public School teacher. Over my years of teaching inner-city high school Spanish, I have worked diligently to hone the skills necessary to lead groups of youth, time management, data collection, long-form planning, assessment strategies, curriculum development, and high-pressure decision-making.
The following are highlights from my career:
- I have earned the top evaluation status of “highly effective teacher” every year of my career
- In 2017, I received a Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Grant to travel with other educators to Peru for curriculum development
- In 2016, I was inducted into Phi Delta Kappa, a sorority for female professionals in education
- In 2012, I was recognized as Teacher of the Month
