Sheldon Branche

Mr. Branche has been practising mainly international and corporate/commercial law for over eighteen (18) years now. He has worked extensively in matters involving international investment and trade, ethics and compliance, international trade disputes, and negotiations in the steel, tourism, energy, maritime, manufacturing and financial industries. He was also chief negotiator representing tourism on the Trinidad and Tobago negotiating team for Bi-lateral Partial Scope Agreements, Tourism Agreements, Cultural Agreements and Bilateral Investment Treaties and chief legal counsel for Trinidad and Tobago in the ‘One Ticket Multiple Destinations’ initiative among Curacao, Venezuela, Colombia, Bonaire, Aruba & Grenada.

Mr. Branche is the International Chapter Leader of the University of London International Programmes since 2010 to present and has won several awards in law which include English Legal System, Constitutional Law, Contract Law and most recently the Gold Award for Organisational Impact at Massy Wood Group Ltd. He has also been the Global Legal Knowledge Manager for Central and South America for ArcelorMittal and General Manager of ISG Trinidad Unlimited in 2013.

He earned his Bachelor of Laws in 2002 from the University of London and obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Vocational Training for the Bar from the BPP Law School in London. He has been admitted to practice law in England and Trinidad and Tobago in 2005 and is a Barrister with Lincoln’s Inn and a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago and a member of the International Bar Association.
