To further my career as a Teacher, and assist children as they grow. As a SPED Teacher my goal was to help each student succeed academically, socially, and independently by adapting instruction to meet individual needs. I help create and implement customized learning plans that outline goals, accommodations, and support services for each student.
I modified curriculum, assignments, and classroom strategies so students can learn in ways that fit their abilities and learning styles. I monitored academic, behavioral, and social development and adjust strategies when needed. I ensured students receive the services and accommodations they are legally entitled to.
I collaborated with Teachers, Counselors, Psychologist and staff to ensure students received appropriate accommodations and modifications.
