Performed as an MFT trainee for a variety of families who were referred by the Department of Child and Family Services. Developed new strategies and techniques to assist supervising MFT's in treating their clients age ranging from 1- 10. The techniques used included play therapy working with three or more family members at one time to evaluate and observe how they take turns, ability to follow instructions.
At the same time I would have another MFT take one family member out for a private session. Based on these observations and inputs, I would then develop a therapy plan to fix the family dynamic. Results were a better analysis of the families' situation for the MFT.

- In kind, I received feedback from different therapists to help better serve my clients.
