Siping Liu

Hi, I’m Hazel, also known as Siping. With a strong background in visual communication and a TEFL certification, I bring a creative and culturally aware approach to everything I do. I grew up in the U.S. after moving from China at a young age, so I understand firsthand what it’s like to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture.

My education and career have helped me develop clear communication, thoughtful design, and effective teaching strategies. I’m passionate about making learning engaging and accessible, and I’m excited to help others grow through language and creativity.

My name is Siping- I also go by Hazel. I come from a background with visual communication, specializing in print and interactive media. Currently, I’m a Creative & Web Specialist at B. King’s Firearms, here in Lima, Ohio.

As part of the marketing team, I plan and design a minimum of 10 cross platform campaigns monthly to promote our sales, increase engagement on our social platforms, or to bring attention to a specific section on our website. These campaigns usually consist of emails, social posts, web sliders, just to name a few. I also initiated and am leading to establish a brand guideline and the redesign of our ecommerce site, accounting for responsiveness and accessibility across mobile and tablet devices.

Along the side, I also designed a print package for our dealer’s program, which consists of a dealer catalog (that contains all of our weapon system models and unique kits), postcards, vinyl banners, and a business card. A sister company of BKF sells fishing tackle, which I redesigned their logo and created a couple sticker designs to go along with their merchandise.

I have received all of my education in the United States, from elementary to university, and earned my Bachelor's of Science in Visual Communication Technology from Bowling Green State University.
