Software Development & Programming student in UC Berkeley Extension with background in Project Management and Engineering. A wide range of project experience about RESTful web services, containerization using Docker and Machine Learning.

• I interned in Google Cloud this summer (June 2022 ~ Sep 2022), responsible building a monitoring dashboard to monitor availability/uptime and release version distribution of a visualization software looker. I developed ERD to illustrate the relationship of existing Big Query tables, which was not documented before internally and wrote queries downtime and inventory order data from Big Table. I also tested using python by pinging the endpoint to fetch release version and comparing with the SQL query results. It is a highlight deserved to be mentioned because in the future, a built-in testing process is very useful.
• I interned in Alibaba Cloud last summer (May 2021 ~ Sep 2021), responsible for developing Markov Chain model to calculate the reliability of Pangu – Alibaba’s distributed storage system, based on disk failure rate, node failure rate, data placement policy and replication strategy (such as three replicas and erasure code), which helped to analyze how the number of disks in one node or disk capacity will influence data reliability. 

I was originally from Civil Engineering (Master’s in UC Berkeley, 2018) background and am a current Master student in UChicago in Computer Science. My interdisciplinary background enables me to think from different perspectives when faced with roadblocks in the middle of a project. My unique background makes me a great fit for your company.
