I have been a full time Analyst at Liberty City Ventures since August 2021.
Ventures is a blockchain venture capital fund based in NYC with over $1.2B in AUM, investing out of a $400M fund. We're a small, agile and focused team (4 people). Our GPs are the co-founders of crypto unicorns Paxos (also the first regulated blockchain company in the world) and Lukka (Institutional Crypto Asset Data and Software). Furthermore, LCV are investors in 40+ blockchain gaming and web3 infrastructure companies including Animoca Brands (leading IP holder in blockchain gaming such as Axie Infinity and the Sandbox), Consensys, Curv (acquired by PayPall), Fireblocks, Figment, etc. Our average investment size is $10 million but we can scale down to get into early rounds and have also invested as much as $100 million. Fortune 100 companies leverage us to learn how they should be thinking about blockchain and because our LP base includes traditional Wall Street expertise. Notably, our GPs once ran Steve Cohen's family office, as well as their own hedge fund with a peak AUM of $2.5B focused on financial services.
