Spenser Rigg

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity and also have a Bachelor's degree in criminology. My passion for both fields has driven me to learn and grow my skills in the cybersecurity industry.

Throughout my academic career, I have acquired the necessary knowledge in criminology to understand the motivation behind cybercrime. This understanding has helped me to develop an interest in cybersecurity, as it is an essential aspect of crime prevention in our increasingly digital world.

As a proactive student, I am committed to continuous learning and obtaining industry-recognized certifications to improve my knowledge in cybersecurity. I am currently working towards obtaining certifications such as Security+ to demonstrate my dedication to the field and build a strong foundation of knowledge.

I have a diverse work experience in the aviation, medical, and hospitality sectors, including being a Flight Attendant at Delta Air Lines, Emergency Room Technician at Mission Community Hospital, and General Manager of Chuck‘s Steakhouse as part of the Outrigger Hospitality Group.

I am currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University in the Cybersecurity Bachelors Program. I have taken foundational courses that include concepts such as programming, computer networking, operating systems, hardware/software, firewalls, VPNs and database management to name a few. I am actively building on my working knowledge of these concepts and strive to continuously expand my knowledge of the many facets of cybersecurity.
