Over 33 year Seasoned Nurse looking for growth opportunities in a positive work environment. Experience in Pre-op, PACU, OR, surgical, nursery, maternal health, gyn, labor and delivery, chart review, admission, discharge, triage, charge nurse, IV, physical assessments, both in-patient and outpatient care.
Proficiently cared for patients of all age groups newborn to geriatric.
Experienced in outpatient, in-patient, labor, nursery, maternal, gynecological, and surgical care.
Current position primary focus on Pre-operative, Post-anesthesia care, and occasional operating room circulator of pediatric and adult patients. Primary goal is ensuring seamless patient transitions, performing high quality patient care, as well as unit daily standard checks, chart audit review, following protocols, and procedures.
Prior to outpatient surgery, over 28 years of my experience focused on specialty area Labor and Delivery at Providence Medical Center. Successfully assisted numerous deliveries. Pro-actively demonstrate effective strategic patient care to manage critical and high risk situations.
All while continuing to facilitate an inviting environment and pleasant communications with patients and family. Personal goals include that every patient has a positive experience, and patient care be delivered with a smile. Welcoming patients and thanking them for the opportunity to provide them safe, compassionate, and excellent patient care.
