I served 13 years in the Active Duty in the United States Army as a Patriot Launching Station Operator/Maintainer.
Experience
Served as the Assistant Launcher Section Chief for a FORSCOM Patriot Battery assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment.
Responsible for the discipline, training, development, safety, morale and combat readiness of 10 Soldiers and their families. Responsible for the operational readiness, tactical employment, accountability and maintenance of one High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, two Patriot Launching Stations and all basic issue items worth an excess of $5,000,000.
Served as the Unit's Equal Opportunity Leader where I taught 15 classes on how to prevent and report discrimination to over 60 seniors, peers, and subordinates leading to the unit maintaining a zero-incident record.
Served as the Unit Prevention Leader which involved assisting the Commander while briefing the service members and observers on the proper test procedures, conducting over 20 urinalysis tests, and maintaining the proper chain of custody of the samples while sealing and transporting them for turn-in to the testing facility.
Education
Served as the Patriot System Maintenance NCOIC for a Patriot Air Defense Artillery Battery.
Responsible for the training, health and welfare of 10 Soldiers and two Non-Commissioned Officers. Supervised basic and intermediate levels of maintenance and serviced all Patriot specific equipment.
Trained operators in proper Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services procedures.
Responsible for tools, diagnostic equipment, and System Maintenance's equipment valued in excess of $22,000,000.
