Steven Rosenbaum is a digital storytelling leader who creates with words, pictures, and video, and brings teams together to do the same. He has produced feature documentaries and television series for theatrical release and cable, created podcasts, and published three books — including The Future of Truth (coming May 2026). He has led organizations such as the NYC Media Lab and now serves as co-founder and Executive Director of the Sustainable Media Center, producing intergenerational podcasts, blogs, and live events.
Award–winning producer, his work has been featured on stages including SXSW, TED, and the World Economic Forum in Davos.
I’m a digital storytelling leader who has built a career at the intersection of media and technology. I’ve produced feature documentaries and television series, launched and led media ventures, and advised companies on video strategy and innovation. My leadership roles have included running the NYC Media Lab and now co-founding the Sustainable Media Center, where I create podcasts, blogs, and events that bring generations together to tackle the future of media and truth.
Along the way I’ve earned two Emmy Awards, founded multiple startups, and published three books, including The Future of Truth (forthcoming May 2026).
