- Sets up, tests, and operates hemodialysis machines for patient treatments.
- Obtains and documents necessary pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight for each patient.

Donor center tech my duties are to do capillary punctures, take and log vitals BP, Temp and Pulse, create donor profile looking up and verifying social, working reception answer phones, schedule appointments for donors and also help them with missed appointments. Trainer- I trained new hires to do the job they are hired to do and to learn standard operating protocols. I'm also a phlebotomist on the floor setting up apheresis machines, calibrating them, spiking the anti cagolent and saline to the lines that will be hooked up to the donor then performing venipuncture.

- Log donor files that were being shipped out matching the file to the box it will be stored in using excel worksheets.
- Stock and open up products in the computer.
- Take the machine out of service and make sure test vials are up to date.
- Calibrate machines in the morning before use.
- Make sure rooms and hematastat and refractometer are correctly calibrated and teach others how to do so.
- Clean up blood spills using the right cleaning solutions.
- Read SOPs.
