Tal Shibi

Tal Shibi is a native Jerusalem choreographer, improvisor, performer, and teacher of dance, CI, and somatic awareness. He is continuously curious in exploring collaborations between different art forms, and widening the perceptions of performance and dance. MFA Graduate of Beinnington College.

Tal is a Jerusalem native who has been performing and teaching internationally for the past 15

years. He's shared courses and workshops in Israel, Greece, Germany, Thailand, Budapest,

Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Canada, and the United States. Tal is passionate about teaching the practice and research of Contact Improvisation, dance, performance, site specific and stage choreography, dance wellness, and efficient movement skills. A certified Shiatsu and Watsu

(body-work in the water) therapist, Tal incorporates somatic thoughtfulness amidst these more dynamic practices. Tal is an experienced Artist, Dance educator, producer and mentor.

Comfortable working in a multitude of environments, managing creative projects and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
