Tavin Severino

I am a recent graduate of Park University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I have been working at a bar and grill as a college job, and enjoyed it enough to work there after college as well. I am ready to make the jump to start my career in the tech industry.

I have been working on expanding my coding skills, and learning new languages that I didn't learn in school. I am passionate about solving complex problems, especially when it's someone else's problem they need help with. I am very quick on my feet and love to learn new skills and concepts.

Working as a bartender and a server at a bar has taught me many things. I've learned how to manage my time and pace of working, I can take on multiple tasks and complete them in the most efficient manner. My favorite part about the job is how they just threw me in, and let me learn as I go. There were some times that I made mistakes starting off, but it helped me to get a grasp of how to do the job right.

I graduated in August of 2021 at Park University in Parkville, Missouri. Along with competing in Track and Field as a High jumper and Long jumper, I also achieved my Bachelors degree in Computer Science. I had a lot of hands on experience in computer networking with Cisco devices, along with various coding and packet tracer assignments.
