I am a dedicated Education Specialist with experience in Mild/Moderate Special Education, passionate about ensuring students receive the right supports from educators, the district, and the community. Growing up in Coachella, CA, with a brother who had severe special needs, I saw firsthand the gaps in special education and have made it my mission to create meaningful change. I am highly skilled in writing and facilitating IEPs, maintaining compliance, and collaborating with teams to develop effective support systems. I am eager to transition into a leadership role where I can advocate for equitable, high-quality education for all students.

I am an experienced Education Specialist with four years of teaching in a Mild/Moderate Special Education setting. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with diverse learners, implementing individualized support plans to help students succeed academically and socially. I have extensive experience writing and facilitating IEPs, collaborating with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure compliance and student-centered outcomes. My passion for special education extends beyond the classroom, as I strive to advocate for systemic improvements that enhance student success and access to resources.

I have a MA.Ed in Special Education and a B.S in Human Services.
