I am a dedicated Caregiver that has patience, is caring and understanding and will make sure the client is happy and comfortable in their own home. I am always on time and if there is an emergency or someone calls out I am always available.
While working at Family Choice Home Care, I learned patience as well as being a good listener. I am able to understand the client’s routines and do things that would accommodate to their needs and help them feel comfortable with me as their caregiver. This job although challenging, gives me a great feeling to be able to help the elderly do things they have a hard time accomplishing daily and to provide them with the comfort and care that they need in their home.
I have learned that each client is different in their needs and personality and how to deal with each client depending on the situation.

Assisted with daily living such as, toileting, morning routine. Changing briefs, transferring resident from bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to seating quarters. Also, food prep and feeding residents. Also experienced with Activities for elderly. Able to talk and be patient and understanding on the disease of Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Lead live in caregiver for six-bedroom facility. Also Med – Tech.
Summerfield of Encinitas 2022-Present
Caregiver for Four house facility which consist of 12 to 14 residents per house. Also Med-Tech for entire facility twice a week and when needed .
