About

Antonio C. Wallace is the CEO and owner of MDEC, an education and healthcare consulting company in Conyers, Georgia. He has a passion for helping others succeed. He believes that everyone has the capacity to be great all they need is a chance to unleash their hidden potential. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Anthem College in 2008 and his Master’s degree in Education with a Concentration in Educational Organizational Leadership from American InterContinental University in 2009. He is also a proud veteran of the United States Airforce and the Georgia Air National Guard, where he served as a medic or medical service specialist.

Mr. Wallace spent more than 30 years in higher education and served as a campus president, vice president of operations, regional director of education, campus academic dean, healthcare program director, and professor. He has earned these accomplishments and recognitions:

2020 Obtained a contract role with Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission as a Regulatory Specialist
2019 Named Campus President of the Year
2015 1st African American Campus President for a 100-year-old institution - Gupton-Jones College
2015 Named Academic Dean of the Year
2001, 2004, 2010, and 2012 Named Instructor of the Quarter

Mr. Wallace is originally from Texas but has been a Georgia resident since 1988. He enjoys spending time with family and friends; some of his hobbies are traveling, bowling, board games, theatres, concerts, going out to eat, watching old movies, and aspiring to learn gardening.
