I started working at Kroger back in 2016 and worked there on and off ( through school ), starting as a cart and bagging attendant. I slowly worked my way up with promotions until I helped manage the online pickup department full-time for 2 years before finally returning to college to finish my degree. I managed a team of about 20 people or more on any given day.
My job was to assign each one a task that fit their strengths and challenged their weaknesses, ultimately growing a very functioning and incredible team. I focused heavily on work development and time management when I worked in this department. I viewed every day as a new opportunity to further the department in a productive manner.
Meanwhile, I also did freelance work for many small agricultural seed companies and started a part-time job doing live stream camera operation. I currently still work at this part-time job doing live streaming cinematography.
After College, thanks to my freelance connection to Achieva, I was offered a full-time job.
Inc., I spend my days creating and editing agricultural teaching modules for big agricultural clients. These videos, also containing short pop quizzes at the end, educate any potential ag workers or farmers about the correct use of Chemicals on crops or preventive measures on how to keep a crop healthy. These videos range anywhere from 2 minutes to 15 minutes, and require matching animations to go along with. Animating in After Effects is most of my days, but I also switch between Adobe's library of apps frequently. In addition to creating this long-form, educational video content, I also help design advertisements for Achievas Social Media as well as Honey Creek Resort in Iowa's social media.
I am a college graduate from Ball State University as of May 2024. I got my bachelor's degree in Media/Telecommunications.
