As an Instructional Developer, I specialize in designing and delivering comprehensive software training that enhances user understanding of our Product Lifecycle Management software (PLM). My role encompasses the creation of high-quality training videos, detailed guides, facilitating both in-person and virtual training workshops, and managing a robust Learning Management System (LMS) via Microsoft SharePoint.
I work closely with subject matter experts, analysts, and other integral teams to create various material for the LMS. Items responsible for include developing online courses, training plans, training videos and guides, software improvement announcements, managing the LMS User Interface (UI), and LMS user management.
Designed and built a SharePoint-based Learning Management Site, streamlining access to training resources for users. This included designing the LMS user interface, importing and publishing currently existing training content, testing site performance, testing user accounts, inviting users, writing and published blog posts, and more.
Writing outlines, storyboards, and scripts of training videos.
Expertise in video, audio, and screen recording production.
Production tools include Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Proficient in managing LMS platforms and user access through SharePoint.
Quality Assurance Testing (both of the LMS as well as software Q&A testing).
Strong collaboration with software analysts, marketing teams, and compliance officers to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and security.
Adept at creating and documenting workflows that meet stringent security standards.
Production process includes the ADDIE Instructional Design method. ADDIE encompasses steps such as Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate.
Graduated in 2024 from Florida State University with a Masters of Science in Instructional Systems and Learning Technology
